Kids are starving in the Gaza strip! What can we do?

It's Time to Face the Truth: Gaza Deserves Better Than Hamas—But There Are No Shortcuts!

The easiest story to tell is that #Israel is to blame for everything. But the reality is far more complex—and if the world truly care about the people of Gaza, we owe it to them to face that complexity honestly. Suffering in Gaza is immense. But the belief that a war against a terror regime can be waged without disruption, hunger, or danger—that’s a view shaped not by reality.

Yes, Israel sends hundreds of aid trucks into Gaza. And yes, far too much of that aid is stolen, hijacked, or resold by Hamas-linked groups and criminal networks. That’s not just a tragedy—it’s a system of exploitation that thrives in the power vacuum Hamas has created.

At the same time, it’s fair to ask: Could Israel be doing more even in the midst of war? After nearly two years of intense conflict, a reexamination of our strategy is essential.

Then there’s the role of international organizations. Agencies like #UNRWA have long resisted cooperation with newer actors that might expose years of dysfunction and political entanglement. Some aid trucks are delayed not because of Israel, but because certain players don’t want change—don’t want transparency.

So yes, Israel must keep asking hard questions. We must do more when and where we can. But we also cannot forget our two urgent goals for us as Israelis:

1. Bring back the remaining 50 hostages.

2. Ensure that Hamas never again governs any part of Gaza or the West Bank.

Is that complicated? Absolutely.

But imagine this: Instead of marching against Israel, what if people across London, Berlin, and Columbia University took to the streets and called on Hamas to surrender?

Imagine if Muslim communities worldwide stood up and said:

Enough. Not for Israel’s sake—but for the children of Gaza!

We can keep repeating the same slogans and blood label Israel, or we can choose to speak the complicated truth. Real change demands more than pseudo-moral propaganda. It demands courage—from all sides—to finally fix what’s broken on the ground, for the sake of Palestinians, Israelis, and the future of the region and it starts with to #FreePalestineFromHamas !!!
